CAE Melbourne City campus – Saturday parent classes - August 29th or September 19th 12pm – 1:30pm. $59.

1:1 in your home $275.00

Mothers/Parents in-home Classes
1 ½ hour in home Mother’s/parent groups session details-;

1 ½ hr class that is customized to your group’s needs.
It includes hand outs, games, resources to purchase, 2-3 songs, activities, practical tips
experienced presenters - all mothers, who have signed with their own children.
Free phone and email consultation before and after the session as required
Information flier sent to childcare if desired inviting them to learn some signing so they can understand the signs from the babies in their care

Usually we run the class in a home which is more convenient for Mums/carers balancing sleeps and feeding.
There is no charge for babies.
Grandparents, child-carers/nanny’s, maternal child health nurses welcome
Weekend or evening classes are also available for partners to attend.
This price is for classes held within 80km radius of Melbourne.
Variations to any of the above can be considered upon request.
If your baby/child attends a child care centre one staff member can also attend

$275au.min. This can be divided between the parents, with a maximum of 15 adults. (e.g. 10 attendees = $27.50 each adult. Discount for couples attending together).

School Incursion Prices

Bookings can vary according to need. Here is a price guide-:

$2.40 per child or $ 325.00 for a full day (min 4hours or max 6x40min sessions)

A full day will include-:

30-40 minutes per class – a hands on demonstration encouraging active participation
Auslan alphabet and opportunities to learn some Auslan vocabulary
Master work sheets (Anatomy of the Ear and Song lyrics for the school to copy for each child)
30 minutes set up time (which includes transition time between sessions)
One song taught in Auslan per class allowing each class to share 3 different songs
Advance Australia Fair or a special School pledge/song can be taught with at least 3 weeks notice prior to the incursion.

A 25 min DVD. It has an instructional / song format
100+ Baby Signs - covering actions, getting ready, family, food, etc which are also listed on the inside cover.
Auslan/Deaf culture instructions relevant to how to use, teach & have fun whilst signing.
